Paola Jara, is a Colombian singer of pop music and ranchera. He was born on May 16, 1983 in Apartado, Antioquia, Colombia.
Musical influences and family
Jara lived until the age of six in Antioquia, since his parents decided to travel to Medellín, where they lived a year and soon they moved to Abejorral, a town of Antioquia of where its mother and family, where they settled for a time, but its Parents had a nomadic tendency according to the artist, since at the time they moved back to Palmira, where Maria Alejandra, the singer's younger sister was born.

Beginnings in music
The beginning of this wonderful career, is seen in his hometown, where from his earliest years at school where he participated in an intercollegiate festival where he played a song acapella called "My little boat". From that moment on his love for music became a part of his life, he began alternating his studies with guitar lessons, singing with his father at family parties and winning the first places in the competitions that were organized in his region.
He was part of a children's music group called Tares Club and in this way explored genres such as ballad, tropical music, children's genre and others. When seeing his talent Álvaro Taborda, who directed the group, he was interested in working with her independently, so they recorded a demo of varied genres, knocked doors on various labels until the desired support.
Musical Trajectory
Professionally, its artistic race begins to its 14 years of age, was when it recorded its first studio album, under the seal of Codiscos, the chosen genre was the rancheras since there were few female exponents with their characteristics.
He has had the opportunity to share scenes with Jhonny Rivera, Giovanny Ayala, Darío Gómez, Marbell, El Charrito Negro, Luis Alberto Posada, Carlos Arturo, Los Cantores de Chipuco, Las Hermanas Calle and Helenita Vargas, among others.
